Core Values

Our core values were created after consultation with the children, staff, parents and governors. They are as follows:

A – Attitude 

‘Remember to respect yourself and others, keep a positive attitude towards everything you do.’

H – Helpfulness

‘Show kindness to our school community, be caring, courteous and helpful.’

P – Perseverance 

‘Never give up, push yourself even when things get difficult, take risks, you CAN do it!’

S – Success 

‘Celebrate and share our individual successes. Be proud of ourselves and each other.’

At AHPS, our values are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to supporting every child as a whole person, helping them to grow not only academically but also in the personal qualities that will shape them for life. Our values are lived out every day in school, and we take pride in recognising and celebrating children when they demonstrate them in action.
