Learning Together Sessions 2023 – 2024
Dear Families of AHPS,
As in previous years we are sharing the dates for our AHPS Learning Together Sessions at the start of the year to give our families as much notice as possible to be able to attend this event with their children.
Learning Together Sessions are an opportunity for parents to come into school to work alongside their child. These sessions are held for every year group from Reception to Year 6. Class teachers give a brief overview of the session to the parents and then parents spend the rest of the session with their child. The children lead the learning with their families. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to show you how they learn and share with you some of the learning activities they do in class. This gives our families a window into your child’s learning specific to each year group.
This year’s Learning Together Sessions will be based around the Mathematics curriculum. In Reception you will have an opportunity to explore ‘number’ and the wider EYFS curriculum provision.
