Allesley Hall Primary School

On Friday 6th July the whole school celebrated Sports Day. The morning saw our Reception and Year 1 children take part in sack races, egg and spoon replay races and many many more. We were very proud of our youngest children, their skill, team work and resilience was a credit to them.

In the afternoon Years 2 – 6 took part in Sports Day competing within their family teams of Rover, Triumph, Peugeot and Jaguar. The children supported each other within the teams supporting all ages. They took part in 100 metre sprints long distance running and many more. The winning team this year was Peugeot which we are told is an Allesley Hall first – so congratulations to all the children in team Peugeot for contributing to your teams’ success!

We are very proud of our sporting provision at Allesley Hall and, as we mentioned on the day, Mr Styles leads a high quality provision that develops skill, competition and sportsmanship. Overarching all of this was a ‘love’ of sports. Every child was smiling, successful and happy. Well done to all of our children, you were a credit to us all!

Thank you to all of the parents and extended family who supported. Your enthusiasm and support in the sun was appreciated by all of us!
