We teach a broad and balanced curriculum, yet place a high emphasis on developing basic skills in Mathematics and English to ensure our children are well prepared for the next stage of their education.
We follow the primary National Curriculum but where possible try to deliver as many of the key skills through a termly theme. We encourage active learning and aim to provide as many opportunities for visits and visitors to our school. This includes trips within the local community, within our city but also further afield, for example trips to Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Twycross Zoo, Warwick Castle, Drayton Manor, Wembley Arena, Islamic Exhibition, Solihull Jewish Synagogue and to Plas Dol y Moch in North Wales .Please have a look at our learning last term:

Children also have the opportunity to learn about and learn from a range of different cultures and faiths in Religious Education and our assemblies and acts of collective worship.
