Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium Grant is an additional funding stream and involves schools receiving a sum of money to enable them to target pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Education Funding Agency states that PPG provides funding for two policies:

• raising the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and closing the gap with their peers
• supporting children and young people with parents in the regular armed forces
